God Uses Failures

Scripture:

The steps of a man are established by the Lord, when he delights in his way; though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the Lord upholds his hand.” Psalm 37:23-24

Observation:

Most of the people God used in the Bible were people with notable failures. God doesn’t stop loving us when we fail or sin. He doesn’t throw our future away when we fall. His grace catches us, and we can get up and keep moving forward.

Application:

God isn’t as interested in your past as He’s interested in your future and the direction you’re heading. If you’ve failed, repent and let it go. God loves you and still has good plans for your life!

Prayer:

Lord, please forgive me for ________. Thank you for loving me even when I fail. Thank you that your grace catches me when I fall. Help me to see myself and my future through your eyes, and not let failures keep me chained to my past mistakes. I want to walk in freedom into the future you have for me. Amen.
