Doubt Your Doubts, Believe Your Beliefs
Scripture:
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
Observation:
We need to doubt our doubts and hold to our beliefs. We confuse ourselves when we let doubts creep in about our beliefs. Like Joshua, we need to hold onto what we know the Lord has called us to, and not let doubt shake us from moving forward.
Application:
Hold tight to what you know is true, especially when you start to feel fear creep in. Don’t let it get a foothold in your life. Choose to doubt your doubts. Remember that God is with you wherever you go!
Prayer:
Jesus, help me to be sure footed as I walk where I know you’ve called me. I may not always know where I’m going to end up when you call me to step out in faith, but don’t let doubt and fear keep me from doing what’s right. Lead me Lord; I know that you are with me, and I don’t need to be afraid. Amen.
