Scripture:

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.’  Colossians 3:15-16

Observation:

Do you think you have enough? I’m talking relationally, spiritually, financially, etc.? We’ve all had losses but gratitude turns what we have left into enough.

Application:

Stop looking at what you don’t have or what you’ve lost, start looking at what you do have and all you’ve gained. Wisdom. Health. Hope. Relationship. God has poured out blessings on you and your life. Have you stopped to count them and thanked Him for them?

Prayer:

Lord, I want to be a person of thankfulness. Help me to keep my eyes on all the good things and people you have placed in my life. When I focus on the things I’ve lost, help me to change my perspective. I want to have a grateful heart. You are the giver of all good things! Thank you, Jesus! Amen.
