Scripture:

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

Observation:

Your life is made up of your everyday choices. Every day, you choose either to be courageous or to be a coward. Following Jesus is not always easy. Doing what Jesus calls you to do is often unpopular and counter-cultural. 

Application:

Choose to be courageous. Choose what’s right, and what Jesus has called you to do. It is not easy, but it is always worth it.

Prayer:

Jesus help me to be courageous like you. Give me the strength to stand up for what’s right, to love even when people don’t deserve it, and to forgive like you’ve called me to. I want to honor you above all else Lord.
