Scripture:
‘His wife said to him, “Are you still trying to maintain your integrity? Curse God and die.” But Job replied, “You talk like a foolish woman. Should we accept only good things from the hand of God and never anything bad?” So in all this, Job said nothing wrong.’ Job 2:9
‘Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him.’ Job 13:15
‘I know that my redeemer lives, and in the end he will stand on the earth.’ Job 19:25
Observation:
Even in our toughest seasons, we can trust in Him. That trust fuels our persistence to live out our lives with the confidence that comes from knowing He is always faithful, even if it doesn’t feel like it. Our redeemer truly lives and in that, we have hope.
Application:
Where are you on the hope scale today? Choose today to trust in Him, knowing that no matter what season you are in or what trial you are facing, He is with you!
Prayer:
Thank you Lord that I am never alone. Thank you that not one thing happens in my life that you can’t bring me through. Today I choose to trust in you and lean into the hope that you have for me. In Jesus strong name, Amen!
