Whispers of the Holy Spirit

Scripture:

And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. Romans 8:26

Observation:

When we operate in the Holy Spirit, even in our weakness, God is able to guide us and speak to us. The Holy Spirit is a direct line to the almighty and when we have built a strong relationship with Jesus, we can recognize His wishes for us. He whispers to us like the wind. Even without words, we feel the promptings of the spirit as He guides us onto the path He wants for us.

Application:

How can we listen to the Holy Spirit? We live in a world of constant distractions. Having time with God isn’t only about when you can make time but allowing God to be at the center of every moment in every day. Invite him into your life. Pray for Him to guide you.

Prayer:

Father, I want to build a strong relationship with you so that even when you silently move around me like the wind, my spiritual ears are wide open and can hear where it is you are guiding me. Thank you that you have created a line of communication that is rooted within me so that I am never without you. Direct me in all I do. Amen.
