Scripture:

In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him were seraphs, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying.” Isaiah 6:1

Observation:

Uzziah was Isaiah’s hero, and Uzziah’s journey didn’t end well. Isaiah was likely devastated. Despite that, we see that in one of the worst times of his life, he saw the Lord high and exalted.

Application:

This year has been a huge challenge. Like Isaiah, you can make the choice today to look up and see Jesus exalted and in control. Draw near to Him today.

Prayer:

Lord I know that you are still in control, even when everything around me seems like chaos. I choose today to worship you, and to focus on you. You are my king and you will be exalted even through this. Amen.
