Scripture:
“I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart; before the “gods” I will sing your praise. I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name for your unfailing love and your faithfulness.” Psalm 138:1-2a
Observation:
An important aspect of prayer and worship is kneeling or bowing down. We see it occur often in the Bible as a sign of great respect and honor. It’s also an important physical expression of honoring God in our own worship life.
Application:
Try kneeling before the Lord as you pray today. As you bow in God’s presence He will lift you up!
Prayer:
God I kneel before you as an act of great reverence. You are my King. You are always faithful, and your love will never fail me. I honor and praise you today!
