The Reason of Christmas

Scripture:

“And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.” Philippians 2:8

Observation:

God came to die. That’s the reason for Christmas. Jesus came to earth as a man to die for you. He loved you so much that He came to die for you. He is the reason for the season.

Application:

God sent Jesus to die for you, to show you how much He loves you! He paid for your sins. He came as a man to die as your Saviour. Reflect on His love and His sacrifice today.

Prayer:

Jesus, thank you for your love and your sacrifice for me. I can never repay what you did for me on the cross, and what you chose to walk through because of your love for me. Thank you Lord. I worship you today. Amen.
