Scripture:

“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33

Observation:

Put first things first. Jesus in Mark 1:35 models for us that before his day would begin, he started it with prayer. Whenever your day begins, put God first. Order your day like Jesus: based on priorities, not pressure or the tyranny of the urgent.

Application:
Are you letting pressures and stress rule your day, or are you ordering your day with purpose? Be intentional with your time and watch how that intentionality can combat stress!

Prayer:

God I want to seek you and your will before anything else in my day. Help me to be intentional with my time. Forgive me and show me where I need to correct my priorities. For the pressures that seem impossible to work around, show me your solution Lord. Amen.
