Scripture:

“Go, gather all the Jews to be found in Susa, and hold a fast on my behalf, and do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my young women will also fast as you do. Then I will go to the king, though it is against the law, and if I perish, I perish.” Esther 4:16

Observation:

I – increase your need for God’s power. It’s so easy to walk through life operating in our own power, unaware that we haven’t truly surrendered to God. You have to ask God to give you his power and strength, like Esther did.

Application:

Invite the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit into every situation today. Ask God to heal the brokenness, the broken situations, and rest in His strength to get you through.

Prayer:

Lord I surrender to you. I need your strength to get me through this day. Help me not to fall on my face out of my own pride, but in humility let go and rely on your Spirit to lead me. I need you in everything God. Show me your ways. Amen.
