Scripture:

Then I said to myself, ‘Oh, he even sees me in the dark! At night I’m immersed in the light!’ It’s a fact: darkness isn’t dark to you; night and day, darkness and light, they’re all the same to you.” Psalm 139:11-12 (MSG)

Observation:

The dark seasons of our lives aren’t daunting to God. Oftentimes, He uses the dark times to develop character in us. He can see what He’s bringing about through the darkness, even when we can’t.

Application:

Can you look back on a dark season of your life and identify what God was doing through it? Maybe you’re in the midst of a dark time now. Yield to the process, and trust that God can use even the darkest times to refine you. Trust Him.

Prayer:

God I may not understand what you’re doing through ______, but I trust you. I choose today to stop fighting the process and to yield to your plans. Amen.
