Scripture:

“But will God really live on earth among people? Why, even the highest heavens cannot contain you. How much less this Temple I have built! Nevertheless, listen to my prayer and my plea, O Lord my God. Hear the cry and the prayer that your servant is making to you. 2 Chronicles 6:18-19

Observation:

Prayer is simple. It’s simply a conversation between you and God. You share with Him, and you listen to Him by spending intentional time in His word. God wants to hear your request today – He wants to meet your needs!

Application:

What simple prayers do you need to pray today? Do you have a desperate prayer that you need to submit to God? Today practice praying with faith and acknowledge both God’s sovereignty and your need for Him every day.

Lord I thank you for always being with me. Thank you for wanting to hear from me and thank you for wanting to speak to me! Lord I submit my ________ to you today. I acknowledge my need for you Lord, and I praise You for always meeting my needs. I love you. Amen.
