FORGIVENESS

Scripture: 

“Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.” Luke 23:34

Observation: 

What an incredible demonstration of how far-reaching the forgiveness of Jesus extends. Forgive them because ‘they don’t know what they are doing’.

Application: 

Let’s learn to forgive like Jesus. There are times when, because of people’s personal experiences and hangups, they may hurt you without even knowing it. Are you willing to be like Jesus and extend the grace necessary to forgive no matter what? 

Prayer: 

Lord, today help me to live as you lived, love like you love and forgive like you forgive – fully and completely. In your strong name, amen.
