Childlike Prayers

Scripture: 

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. 

Philippians 4:6 

Observation: 

God asks us to come to Him with every need and worry. He doesn’t say, “Pray to me about everything EXCEPT this stuff…” No! God wants to be there for you! Nothing is too small or too big. 

Application: 

We serve a big God. Don’t get caught up on believing that He doesn’t have the time or space for you because you think that your issues aren’t worth His time. We are talking about the One who made the Heavens and the earth. He is in all, with all, through all. Today, like a child coming to their father in full fledged faith that they will be heard and taken care of, cast everything onto Him. He hears you. 

Prayer: 

Today I come to you humbled. You don’t care about fancy words or carefully crafted requests. You care about ME. You want to care for me and listen to my every worry, need, and concern. No matter how insignificant it may seem. Thank you for always being there for me anytime I need you. Forgive me for the times I have forgotten that I matter to you. Amen.
