Scripture:

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6

Observation:

Trust and prayer work hand in hand. The more we learn about God, the more we trust Him. The more we trust Him, the more we come to Him in prayer. The more we come to Him in prayer the more our heart depends on Him.

Application:

Do you struggle to trust God, or struggle to pray? The solution is to spend more time learning about Him. Today, carve out time to read your Bible; maybe listen to a past sermon, or a podcast on a biblical topic you struggle with. Seek to learn about Him, and build that trust today!

Prayer:

Lord I want to trust you with my whole heart. I want prayer to be a second nature, something I don’t even have to think about doing. I want to truly walk through each day with you. Teach me more about you today Lord. I’m here, and I want to keep building my relationship with you. Amen.
