Scripture:

“But He said to them, ‘I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, for I was sent for this purpose.’” Luke 4:43

Observation:

Jesus knew what boundaries to set, because he knew what his ultimate mission was. Live out of mission. Stay focused on why God has you on earth. It’s easier to set and keep boundaries when you know what the purpose of your life is. 

Application:

If you know who you are, and why you’re here, it’s a lot easier to understand what you are and aren’t supposed to do each day. Reflect on that today. Talk to God about who He’s created you to be.

Prayer:

Father I ask that you would speak to me today about who I am, and what I am meant to do. I don’t want to be stressed out chasing things that I was never meant to. I surrender my time and my identity to you. You made me, you love me, and I trust the plans you have for me. Amen.
