Scripture:

“Yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.” Galatians 2:16

Observation:

We can’t earn our salvation. We aren’t saved by the good things that we do, only by believing in Jesus and the sacrifice he made.

Application:

Today live out of the knowledge that you aren’t saved by anything but grace – God’s unmerited favor. Celebrate that today!

Prayer:

Jesus, thank you for saving me. Thank you that I can live in freedom today because of what you did. I know that I can’t earn my salvation, and I celebrate today because of your grace towards me. Amen.
