Scripture:

“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.” Colossians 3:12

Observation:

As people who follow Jesus, we are called by God to live differently in this world. We are supposed to reflect His character and his kindness to the people around us. Just as God made the choice to save us, we also must make the choice each day to live with kindness, compassion, and gentleness.

Application:

Kindness is love in action. Love is more than an emotion, it’s something that you do. Make a conscious choice this week to walk in kindness each day.

Prayer:

Jesus I want to be like you. Help me to reflect your love and your patience to the people around me. I want to represent you well, and I want those I encounter to have an encounter with you. I choose kindness today. Amen.
