God Is Trustworthy

Scripture:

“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.” Psalm 28:7

Observation:

When we trust in God, our hearts are open to the joy and freedom He has for us. He never fails or forsakes us. He will not leave us in our broken state. When we trust Him, we can walk through life ready to embrace the people and callings He has for us, because we aren’t limiting ourselves out of fear from past hurts.

Application:

No one can hurt you beyond where God can heal you. God wants you to live freely, not walled off from people and opportunities to grow. Make it a declaration as you start each day this week that you will trust God in all things.

Prayer:

Lord, I trust you with my life. I trust you with my relationships. I trust that there are good things that you are calling me to. Don’t let fear or hurt hold me back from the best you have in store for me. I love you Lord; you are my strength, my shield, and my joy. Amen.
