Scripture:

“The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.” Proverbs 12:18

Observation:

The truth spoken without love does the same damage as a lie. We’re in a world of a lot of words right now. As people who follow Jesus Christ let’s make sure our words are wise, wrapped in love, words that are humble and kind. Let’s be people who listen well and don’t listen with our answer already running through our minds.

Application:

What do you need to work on today to become a better listener and be someone who brings peace with your words? 

Prayer:

Lord help my words to bring healing and not harm. Help me to represent you well with my words!
