The Result of Christmas

Scripture:

“Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:9-11

Observation:

Jesus is Lord – that is the result of the very first Christmas. From the crib he went to the cross, and from the grave rose again as our Lord and Saviour. God exalted Him to the heavens, and gave Him the Name Above All Names. He sits in the highest place in the universe, the King over all kings.

Application:

Lean into the knowledge of Jesus’ Lordship today. He is Lord above all, including everything in your life. Acknowledge that and declare His sovereignty over anything you face today.

Prayer:

Jesus you are Lord of my life, Lord of my health, my finances, my family. You are Lord above all and I worship you today. Amen.
