Scripture:

“When the turn came for Esther to go to the king, she asked for nothing other than what Hegai, the king’s eunuch who was in charge of the harem, suggested. And Esther won the favor of everyone who saw her.” Esther 2:15

Observation:

I – Invite others to give advice and support. Esther was always open to the advice of others. We see her relying on the advice of trusted people, including her cousin Mordecai and eunuch who oversaw her preparations before she met the king. She let them speak into her life, and we see how much it benefited her.

Application:

Don’t be afraid to seek out and trust the advice of others. If you’re feeling stuck or hopeless right now, reach out! Invite trusted advisors to speak into your life.

Prayer:

God help me to seek and receive wise guidance. If there isn’t someone who can speak that into my life right now, I ask Lord that you would bring me new friends and mentors whom I can trust. Help me to let others in, and speak to me through those you’ve placed in my life. Amen.
