Pick Your Friends Wisely

Scripture:

“Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble.” Proverbs 13:20

Observation:

If we spend time with the right people, they will build us up and encourage us. If we spend time with the wrong kind of people, they will pull us down. Who we let into our lives matters to God.

Application:

God cares about your friendships. He wants you to be in community with good people who will build your faith and lift you up! Do you need to make some relationship changes today?

Prayer:

Jesus, I know that you want me to have good people in my life. Surround me with people that I can walk with, people that will build me up. True friends who are wise and love you too. Please show me today if I’m investing too much time into relationships that won’t lead me where you want me to go. Amen.
