Jehovah-Jireh

Scripture: 

So Abraham called that place The Lord Will Provide. And to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided.” Genesis 22:14

 Observation:

“Jehovah-Jireh” is one of the many different names of God found in the Old Testament. “Jehovah-Jireh” is the KJV’s translation of YHWH-Yireh and means “The LORD Will Provide” (Genesis 22:14). It is the name memorialized by Abraham when God provided the ram to be sacrificed in place of Isaac.

 Application:

God is your provider. What do you lack in your life today? Peace, freedom from sin, freedom from bondage, reconciliation of a relationship, restoration of health?

Whatever you are seeking, ask Jehovah-Jireh today… He longs to answer.

My LORD, today I bring my requests before You believing in faith that You long to meet all my needs. Amen.
