Prayer:

Jesus Christ, we pause and come before you on this election day. I ask that you would unify our country. As believers we are called to bring unity, and that unity trumps everything in our lives. Unity in you God supersedes our right to be right. Paul told us that we are called to be ministers of reconciliation, and may we be the ones to repair and not cause destruction today. Our greatest commandment is to love others. Help us to speak life and show your love today. Help us to spread hope and love today, and not hate. Thank you for loving us unconditionally. Help us to love unconditionally as well, and spread unity and peace today. Amen.
