Remain Focused

Scripture:

“Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the east came to Jerusalem.” Matthew 2:1

Observation:

R – Remain focused. The wise men had to travel for a long time to reach Jesus. They could have easily let themselves be detoured along the way, or even turned back around and gone home when the journey took too long. But they stayed focused on their destination and didn’t let themselves get distracted along the way.

Application:

A lot of us get distracted on our journey towards our dreams. Especially this year, it is easy to get distracted by all that is happening around us. Today, remove the distractions, and focus on the future God has for you.

Prayer:

Lord, help me to stay focused on your dreams for my life. Help me to not get distracted along the way. Amen.
