Restoration Is Our Plan

Scripture:

“Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away. Then times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord, and he will again send you Jesus, your appointed Messiah. For he must remain in heaven until the time for the final restoration of all things, as God promised long ago through his holy prophets.” Acts 3:19-21

Observation:

From the beginning until the end of time, God’s plan is to restore broken people. He is the God of second chances. Jesus came so that we could be restored. No matter how broken, no matter the area of brokenness, we are never too far to be redeemed by His grace if we’ll turn back, repent, and believe.

Application:

If you feel broken beyond restoration, hear today that God is not done with you. He can and will restore you, and He still has a plan for you! Maybe you need restoration in your finances, in your marriage, maybe even in your health or mind. Believe today that God can restore you.

Prayer:

Lord, forgive me for ________. I know that you can make all things new. No matter how broken or unusable I feel, I choose today to believe that you still have a plan for my life and you have not forsaken me. Thank you for your grace Jesus. Amen.
