Scripture:

“He says, ‘Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”’ Psalm 46:10

Observation:

God wants you to slow down, to not run so fast that you miss out on the beauty of life around you or forget to worship Him. It’s for your own good that God reminds you to stop and focus on who He is. Taking those moments to pause and praise Him resets our hearts and our priorities and helps keep the weight of life in perspective.

Application:

Slow down and enjoy the ride! Set aside some intentional time today to slow down and worship God.

Prayer:

Lord I praise you today! I praise you for who you are, and I praise you because you are the King of my life. I praise you because even in the midst of chaos I can be still and find peace with you. Thank you for being my refuge, my strength, and my peace that surpasses all understanding. Amen.
