Scripture:

“O LORD, you have examined my heart and know everything about me… Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.” Psalm 139:1; Psalm 139:23

Observation:

Sometimes we’re an open book with God, and sometimes we want to shut the pages and ignore the pain that comes from facing the issue. The pride of not giving God full control and access to our lives stunts our growth and can keep us trapped in pain. God wants to show you what the problem is, and how to fix it.

Application:

Are you facing an issue or something painful, but not taking it to the Lord? Take a moment right now to invite God to speak into your life. Let Him have full access, to both comfort and correct you. He loves you!

Prayer:

Jesus, I open my heart to you. Help me to embrace the pain and find the freedom. Read the pages of my life. In Jesus’ name, amen!
