Scripture:

“After sending them home, he went up into the hills by himself to pray. Night fell while he was there alone.” Matthew 14:23

Observation:

Practice alone time with God. Take time like Jesus to get away, just you and Him.

Application:

Praying together with others is great, but there’s something so important about making time to be alone with God too. There’s no pressure to pray a certain way, no one else to impress, no worry about saying the wrong thing. God wants you to be real with Him. Spend some time praying alone today!

Prayer:

Thank you Lord for loving me even when it feels like I don’t have the right words to say. I want to be closer to you. I want to have an even better personal relationship with you. I invite you into every area of my life. Amen.
