Scripture:

For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14

Observation:

S – stay focused on God’s faithfulness. Throughout the book of Esther, we see how Mordecai stays focused on God’s faithfulness to His people. He didn’t doubt that God would take care of them, and he did not try to scheme or take action on his own. Even if Esther had refused to go to the king, Mordecai knew that God would come through. He relied on God, and God didn’t let him or the Jewish people down.

Application:

God will vindicate you too. If you trust Him, if you rely on His faithfulness instead of trying to take things into your own hands, He will be faithful to you too. Trust in his faithfulness today.

Prayer:

God I trust in your faithfulness. Help me to not take any action on my own that would lead me outside of your plan for my life. Even in my darkest times, I know that you are there and I can rely on you. Thank you for never failing me Lord. Amen.
