Scripture:

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

Observation:

A – Act with courage. The wise men had to be courageous to leave the comfort of their home country and step into the unknown. Because they were willing to step out with faith and pursue the mission the Lord had laid on their hearts, they got to be part of the greatest story in history.

Application:

Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather stepping out in faith despite your fear. Don’t let fear sideline you today. Step out in faith, and keep going in the direction God has set before you.

Prayer:

Lord, help me to have courage like the wise men. Help me to not let fear force me to take a seat. I want to step into the unknown with you, as long as I’m heading where you want me to go. Amen.
