We Cannot Please God Without Love

Scripture:

“…and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.” 1 Corinthians 13:2b

Observation:

We please God by believing in Him, believing in Jesus, and by being filled with love. Even if we are filled with faith, if we don’t have love, we cannot please God.

Application:

No matter what I believe it won’t matter if I don’t live out those beliefs with love. Beliefs and doctrine are incomplete and ineffective if we aren’t filled with the love of God. Whatever you do today, do it from a place of love.

Prayer:

Jesus, I don’t want my faith to be hollow. Thank you for your love for me. Fill me with your love today, and whatever I do, let it come from a place of love. Amen.
