Jehovah Shalom

Scripture:

But the Lord said to him, “Peace! Do not be afraid. You are not going to die.”  So Gideon built an altar to the Lord there and called it The Lord Is Peace. To this day it stands in Ophrah of the Abiezrites.  Judges 6:23,24

Observation:

Jehovah Shalom, translated “The Lord is Peace,” is one of many Old Testament names for God 

Application:

Whatever you may be facing today, Jehovah Shalom can bring peace to you and the situation. Call on Him and God will bring peace that surpasses all understanding.

Prayer:

Father, today I walk in the authority of Jesus’ name. I verbally call out the name Jehovah Shalom bringing Your peace into my life. In Jesus name. Amen.
